| R-162 is a 1996 Salisbury Heavy Rescue on a Sutphen 6 man chassis. It has a 25kw generator, 6 light 6000 watt light tower, 6 bottle, high pressure cascade with a Sierra Booster Pump. It carries low pressure, high lift bags, Paratech air shores, 2 multi gas detectors, fire finder, ice rescue suits, Misc. rope rescue suits, tripod, sked, Miller half back, medical equipment, backboards and stokes,and a complete Command Center. The rig is air conditioned, front and rear. For extrication we use Lukas Rescue Systems and we have 2 complete tools on board. (one electric with two reels and one gas portable). We have two spreaders, two cutters and two rams. |
